Dear guests,
we are glad you found your way to us. Whether you are passing through, travelling for work or spending a few quiet days in the region – a comfortable room, a straightforward check-in and a parking space right outside your door are waiting for you.
Our motel
Our extension is complete: across three buildings we now offer 32 modern guest rooms, including 19 particularly efficient rooms in buildings 2 and 3.
Parking
There are plenty of free parking spaces for your car – many of them directly in front of your room, more in front of the check-in area. Electric cars charge overnight at a fair rate at one of our four wallboxes. Lorries and coaches please use the neighbouring ARAL truck stop.
Arrival and check-in
You can arrive any time from 2 p.m. onwards – your room stays reserved for you, however late it gets. Check-in is done at our self-service terminal and takes only a few steps: simply have your booking number or the last name of the person who booked to hand. If anything is unclear, you will find our contact details in the check-in area.
Departure
On the day of departure we ask you to vacate your room by 10 a.m. That gives us enough time to prepare it for the next guests – even if you only arrived late the night before.

You arrive without having to pass through a lobby: automated check-in, free parking directly in front of your room, and direct access from outside.
Looking for our most efficient rooms? Then choose one of our 19 rooms in building 2 or 3: KfW efficiency house 55 and 40 NH (QNG certified), heated by a ground-source or air-source heat pump with underfloor heating and individually adjustable infrared panels.
What we are known for: Direct connection to the A1 motorway, close proximity to Münster / Osnabrück Airport – our overnight accommodations are ideal for travelers and last-minute travelers! All of our rooms are very spacious. A room is also available for disabled guests.
Thanks to the massive construction of our building, it is of course ensured that no noise from the nearby motorway can disturb your night’s sleep. A truck stop with bistro, Burger King, McDonalds and a snack bar in the immediate vicinity offers you everything imaginable for your physical well-being – if you have to go fast again.
Further important information and contact:
- The check-in takes place at a machine, which is located in the check-in area of our motel. You need an EC, Maestro or credit card for access. There is no reception. The operating instructions for the machine are posted on site. You don’t need an extra code.
- Payments can be made using EC, Maestro and manually available credit cards. Please have your card PIN ready at all times. Cash is not accepted, nor do we provide our rooms on account and we do not charge any credit card details sent to us.
- If you prefer to pay in advance, just send us an email at info@motel-espenhof.de. Please note that prepaid bookings can no longer be changed or cancelled free of charge; our terms and conditions apply.
- Please book your room through the online booking function on this website. You will see straight away which rooms are free and the booking takes two minutes. We are not able to take reservations by phone or through the contact form. For any questions about your stay you can of course still reach us on +49 5485 8346400 – an answering machine takes your message and we call back – or by email at info@motel-espenhof.de.
- The area is video-monitored and access is controlled by a barrier.
